SHRI VAJPAYEE BANKABLE YOJANA :The Gujarat Government Has Introduced A New Scheme For The Employees Of Cottage Industry. This Scheme Offers Financial Support To The Craftsmen Of The Cottage Industry. Gujarat Has Started This Scheme In The Memory Of Our Revered Former Prime Minister Late Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee. This Scheme Is Known As “Shri Vajpayee Bankable Yojana 2022”. This Scheme Focuses On Equipping The Unemployed Youth Of The States. Aiming To Promote Entrepreneurship Skills And Helping Them Become Financially Self-Sufficient With Their Own Projects.

SHRI VAJPAYEE BANKABLE YOJANA : Scheme To Provide Financial Loans / Assistance To Cottage Industry Artisans Through Nationalized Banks, Co-Operative Banks, Public Sector Banks, Private Banks.

( 1 ) Purpose : – Under This Scheme The Intention Is To Provide Self Employment To The Unemployed Persons In Urban And Rural Areas Of Gujarat. People With Disabilities Or Blind People Will Also Be Able To Avail The Benefits Of This Scheme.

( 2 ) Eligibility Of The Scheme :
1 . Age: 18 To 65 Years
2 . Educational Qualification : At Least Std-4 (Four) Pass Or
Training / Experience : Must Have At Least 3 Months Training From A Private Institute Suitable For The Profession Or At Least One Month Training From A Government Recognized Institute Or Have One Year Business Related Experience Or Inherited Artisan.
3 . There Is No Income Limit.
(3) Bank Through Loan Borrowers Maximum Limits :
(1) Maximum 8 Lakh For Industry Sector.
(2) Maximum 8 Lakh For Service Sector.
(3) Maximum 8 Lakh For Trade Sector.
(4) Assistance Rate On Loan Amount : Assistance Rate For Industry, Service And Trade Sector Under This Scheme Will Be As Under.

Note : In Case Of Blind Or Disabled Beneficiary, The Maximum Assistance For Any Sector Will Be Rs. 1,25,000 /-
